Denise Quinless-Heyman - Senior Associate

Denise graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree from Murdoch University in 2005 after completing a Bachelor of Legal Studies. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2007 following completion of her articled clerkship. Denise joined Bannerman Solicitors in September 2007.

Denise was previously employed at Legal Aid on their Information Line, which enabled her to gain invaluable experience in family law.  Her employment at the Gosnells Community Legal Centre and Legal Aid have given Denise a solid understanding and foundation for the various legal dilemmas that our clients find themselves having to face.

Denise now deals with all aspects of family law issues, which include but are not limited to disputes concerning the time children spend with parents, allegations of child abuse and issues of domestic violence.

Denise also assists parents deal with matters involving the Department for Child Protection in Perth’s Children’s Court. She has also volunteered her time to act as a mentor to students requiring additional academic support within a school environment.

Denise otherwise enjoys spending her spare time with family, entertaining and relaxing with her husband and pets.
